About Ace Continental Aviation

My love for flying started in 1989, when I acquired a Dutch license. In 1994 i left for the USA Dallas Texas were i aquired my FAA CPL instrument single and multiengine ratings. After that I took several courses and in 1997 I decided to go for all FAA Instructor ratings to Flight Safety as well (CFI CFII MEI).

When I returned to Europe in 1998, I was able to immediately start as a FAA  flight instructor full time, working here in Europe and started Ace Continental Aviation. At this point I have instructed more than 20 years and gained a lot of experience, not only in hours but also in destinations and in aircraft types.

Mainly due to the ATO system in Europe a lot of (private) owners experience problems to get specialized training because the types they have (such as Cirrus aircraft, Beechcrafts, Piper Malibu, Meridian, Cheyenne and King Air) are usually not on the ATO list. Therefore ATO’s are unable to provide training on these types. Ace Continental does provide training on those types and has extensive experience on currently almost all types up to and including aircraft of 12500 LBS, such as King Air B200. Currently a lot of new and complex equipment is introduced in various aircrafts, for wich Ace Continental provides training for as well.

Recently Ace Aviation has been conducting several special flight services like Survey (photo), Air Ambulance, Relay and maintenance support flights. In the gallery you can find some photo’s of these flights.
